A Sensory Steam Experience in Inglewood, California
Thermasol Premier Partner Feature
Designing a peaceful sanctuary in a compact space takes intention, precision, and the right tools. For Jhoiey Ramirez, principal designer of The Sycamore Collective, the goal was to transform a small primary bathroom into a luxurious wellness retreat — one that felt restorative and highly personal for her busy clients.
“Creating a functional yet luxurious space in their small bathroom was a challenge,” Jhoiey says. “But thanks to Thermasol, we created the perfect place for our clients to unwind and recharge.”
Despite the room’s modest footprint, Jhoiey was able to deliver on everything the couple had hoped for: a soaking tub, matte black fixtures, and a full-sized steam shower powered by Thermasol technology. At the heart of the space is a personalized steam experience that feels anything but standard.
“This wasn’t just about fitting in a steam shower — it was about creating a full sensory environment,” she explains.
The space includes Thermasol’s HydroVive 18 rainhead with light, sound, and water immersion, as well as the SteamVection steam head for consistent, gentle distribution. With the ability to add essential oils, stream music, and shift chromatherapy lighting to suit the moment, the couple now enjoys a wellness routine that feels elevated and immersive.
“Even in a small space, we were able to layer in real wellness benefits without compromising aesthetics,” Jhoiey says.
“Jhoiey’s ability to bring smart, sensory wellness design into compact footprints is exactly what makes her such a valued partner,” says Rachel Bragg, Senior Brand Manager at Thermasol. “Her work shows that luxury and wellness aren’t about square footage — they’re about intention.”
