Customers are notified prior to the delivery to allow time for preparation. A forklift is recommended for unloading; however, saunas can also be offloaded manually, piece by piece, with the help of 3–4 people in approximately 30–60 minutes. Many customers have successfully used this method. DIY assembly typically takes 4-6 hours.

Please ensure you are fully prepared to receive and unload your sauna in accordance with the instructions provided in your manual.

Harvia barrel saunas are delivered with individual wall staves, pre-assembled front and back walls, benches, and detailed installation instructions. Assembly typically takes a few hours and requires two people and basic tools. A licensed electrician is required to install the sauna heater.

The path from delivery point to placement site must be clear and accessible for equipment. Saunas should be installed on a firm, level surface with slight runoff for drainage—such as concrete, decking, pavers, or compacted gravel.
