Sizing Your Steam Generator
Just multiply your shower’s Length x Width x Height to get the total cubic feet. Wall materials do not affect generator size. For ceilings 9 ft high, size up one generator.

The generator can be installed up to 50 feet away from the shower. It must be placed in a finished, climate-controlled space that is protected from weather conditions. Ensure there is at least 6 inches of clearance on all sides of the unit. The generator must remain accessible at all times—do not enclose it behind walls or inside a bench. Install the unit flat and horizontally.

For the steam shower enclosure, use non-porous, moisture-resistant materials like porcelain or ceramic tile, tempered glass, and sealed grout. While natural stone is an option, it must be sealed regularly. Choose rust-resistant fixtures, and for seating, use treated, moisture-safe woods like teak.
