Egyptian Rose Geranium Essential Oil

Rose Geranium is often uses to scent soaps and is found in almost every skin care product on the market. This beautiful oil is used as a “skin softening” agent and as a heavenly perfume.

This geranium has been named “rose” geranium because it has many of the natural chemicals found in True rose oil.  Popular during the Victorian area, Rose geranium was often worn in the hair of women and fresh cuttings were offered in finger bowls at formal dining tables.

Today, Rose geranium is used as indispensable therapeutic oil.  It is one of the best skin care oils offering relief from congested and oily skin.

In your Steamshower ~ simply add 2 to 4 drops of ThermaSol’s Egyptian Geranium Oil to the steamhead reservoir before your steam session and relax as the soft, rosy fragrance relieves stress, anxiety, fatigue and PMS symptoms.

Additional topical and therapeutic uses:

Hair ~ add 40 drops to an 8 ounce bottle of shampoo or conditioner for oily hair.  This will give a long lasting scent of rose to your hair and helps calm the hair follicles.

Simple Inhalation ~ to soothe and calm your mind and body simply place 3 drops of Geranium Oil on a cloth or tissue, hold to your nose and inhale five times.  Repeat as needed.

Skin Care ~ Geranium Oil is used to calm oily or irritated skin.  Add 2 drops to your daily moisturizer and apply in the morning and at night. 

Geranium Oil can also be applied directly to stretch marks, acne, congested skin and eczema to help restore softness, elasticity and balance.
