Madagascar Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

This oil is an intensely sweet, tropical floral fragrance used to calm tense nerves and relax muscles. Ylang Ylang translated means “flower of flowers.”  Ylang is worn in the hair by women in Indonesia and is believed to be a strong aphrodisiac.  Ylang Ylang is most commonly used as a beautifying agent and is found in almost every high quality skin care product on the market today.  In some countries, Ylang Ylang is used therapeutically for anxiety, lowering blood pressure and relieving tachycardia or excessively rapid heartbeat.  Use frequently to restore skin clarity and firmness.

In your Steamshower ~ simply add 2 to 4 drops of ThermaSol’s Madagascar Ylang Ylang Oil in the steamhead reservoir before your steam session to help reduce anxiety, rejuvenate your skin and stimulate romantic feelings while calming your mind.

Additional topical and therapeutic uses:

In your shampoo ~ Ylang Ylang is used as a hair and scalp tonic.
Add 1 drop of Ylang to your daily shampoo to increase volume, rebalance oil production and treat flaky conditions leaving your hair and scalp clean and refreshed. 

Simple Inhalation ~ to immediately invigorate your mind and body, simply place 3 drops of the Ylang Ylang Oil on a cloth or tissue, hold to your nose and inhale five times.  Repeat as needed.

Skin Care ~ for firming and lifting skin add 1 drop of Ylang Ylang to your facial mask.  1 drop in a bowl of warm water makes a rejuvenating facial wash.  Also add 1 drop to your daily moisturizer to balance and beautify your skin.
