ThermaSol Digital Circuit Board
ThermaSol provides the only 100% Digital Steam Shower System on the market today. The differences between digital and analog systems are comparable to going from a dial-up connection to DSL, or from a black & white television to HDTV. ThermaSol spent 33 months of intense engineering to bring every aspect of their steam program to the digital era. As of October 1, 2007, all ThermaSol Steam Showers are all made with 100% solid state digital technology.
Analog technology is used presently by all other steam bath manufacturers. Analog steam shower systems operate via a unidirectional analog command. An electronic pulse is sent through telephone-style cables to the generator in order to command functions. Any added feature to a steam shower system requires an extra cable, and the generator can only respond to a single pulse. There is no communication network in place to verify what the specific pulse is. Opportunities for error are endless, and the system is also susceptible to uncontrollable influences like voltage spikes or lightning. This can cause the generator to activate and run; which can cause the destruction of a home’s drywall and more.
ThermaSol’s 100% Digital Steam Shower System provides the only networked system that contains 100% digital communication technology. This means that everything connected not only receives information, it also transmits the information to ensure there can be no reading error as to what the command is. It will not activate if communication is broken. With a ThermaSol Digital Steam Shower System there is never a concern that a voltage spike, frayed cable or other outside influence will send a generator into a function that could be destructive. Expandability is also easy. The entire system is controlled by two wires, and any features added are automatically detected by controls and operate accordingly.
